Obituary of Myron Sherman

Myron “Mike” Lane Sherman of Lakewood, CO passed away October 13, 2019 in his home surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Sherman, mother Margaret Howard, brother Lloyd “Shelley” Sherman and sister Patricia A. Hall. Myron was the oldest of 5 children. His siblings are Lloyd “Shelley” Sherman, Patricia A. Hall, Donna L. Blethen and Candace “Diane” Stuart. Survived by his wife of 68 years, Madolyn E. Sherman, 3 children Ron L. Sherman, Janice M. Sherman Vigil and Robert S. Sherman, along with their spouses, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Myron served in the United States Coast Guard from 1950-1953. He received the Korean Service Metal, United Nations Service Metal, and National Defense Service Metal. Myron was a MM1- Machinist Mate, Petty Officer First Class. Myron loved fishing, hunting, camping, working on cars, being a part of a pit crew, and snowmobiling with his family and friends. Myron was passionate about farming his property in Crook, Colorado. Myron lived his life to the fullest, making his wife, children and all of his grandchildren proud. Viewing will Monday October 28th at 11:00 am, followed by a Service at 12:00 pm located at, Bethlehem Lutheran Church- 2100 N. Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, CO 80214 Burial will be held at 2:00 pm, at the Fort Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area “A”-4400 W Kenyon Ave, Denver, CO 80236
