Obituary of Fidencio Sandoval

Announcement of Death of Fidencio C Sandoval, 87 years old, living in Golden, Colorado. On Monday, October 14th, 2019 at 11:50pm surrounded by Wife and Children and loved ones at time of passing. Born in Madrid, New Mexico on November 16, 1931 to Bernabe and Antonia Sandoval. He had seven brothers and five sisters. Albuquerque High School BS of Science and Mathematics from the University of New Mexico Masters from University of Albuquerque Join the Air Force 1950 and served until 1954 Married his wife Viola E. Sandoval on October 13 1955 and had his four children, Bruce Sandoval (Ann Curly), Audrey Sandoval (Brock Besser), Cris Sandoval, and DeeAnna (Sandoval) McCarthy,( Edward McCarthy). The grandchildren are Oreanna Murphy, Gilbert Barnes, Julia Vitanyi, Golden McCarthy, James Michael Holfzfaster, and Dylan Vitanyi. The Great Grandchildren Jackie and Sarianna Murphy, Sierra Johnson, Isabella and Stephen Meredith, Atticus Fidencio Pereya, and Lilyana Holzfaster. Fidencio and Viola opened a successful venture of Fido’s Ice Cream with almost twenty years of salesmanship in Albuquerque New Mexico, while he worked at Kirkland Air Force Base, His 50 plus years of civil services career ended by retiring from the Department of Interior in 2008. When off duty he was adventurous out of the box kinda guy. He was a hunter first and foremost. He was a pilot and flew his Cessna internationally. He traveled throughout Mexico looking for extended family. He was a voter with passion and rallied in his favorite political corner. He had the entrepreneur blood in his veins and even in his retirement he opened stores and enjoyed Tienda de Sandoval Inc in west Denver. With Viola by his side, he settled into his Golden home until his last breath. He was dreaming of the move to Arizona to spend the balance of his years in the warm sun. Survived by Wife, Viola E Sandoval and his four children and great-children. The funeral services will be held on 10/28/2019 at Sante Fe National Cemetery, NM at 1:30 PM.
