Obituary of Edward A Shephard

Edward A. Shephard was born to Albert E. Shephard and Helen B. (Watkins) Shephard on October 31, 1943 in Lakewood, Colorado. He passed peacefully from this life at his home in Reeds, Missouri on October 30, 2019, one day before his 76th birthday.

Eddie grew up in Colorado, but had fond memories of a year or two living in Missouri with his family and cousins. This is why, upon his retirement as a cement finisher at Coors Brewery, that he along with his wife, Bertha and son, Kelly moved to Reeds, Missouri in 1995.​

He met his wife, Bertha R. (Bartosh) Shephard and they married July 31, 1965. They had three children together.​

Ed is survived by his daughter, Tammy (Lyle, deceased) Little of Golden, Colorado, son, Kelly R. Shephard of Reeds, Missouri and daughter, Sandy (Bill) DeYott of Helena, Montana; grandchildren, Alexander and Joyce DeYott of Helena, Montana and Jennifer Little of Henderson, Nevada; great grandsons, Kenyon and Hunter Stevenson of Sherman, Texas; brothers, Bill Shephard (Nancy), Richard Shephard (Linda), John Shephard and Earl Shephard (Celeste), and sisters, Sheryl Smith, Barbara Shephard and Kim Soberlaski (Rich) and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.​

He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Helen Shephard, his wife, Bertha (Bartosh) Shephard, his sisters, Alberta Nolan, Judy Lang and Joyce Neuman, his son-in-law, Lyle Little, grandson, Donald Edward DeYott and granddaughter, Melinda (Mindy Little) Stevenson.​

He was a good husband, father, provider, son, brother and friend, and will be greatly missed.​
