Obituary of Raymond Ebbony Durham

Raymond “Ray” Ebbony Durham. Born in Denver CO Feb 5, 1942. Deceased in Lafayette CO on Dec 23 2019. Ray was 77 years old.

Preceeded in death by his parents Herman and Joyce Durham and brother Robert R. Durham. Survived by his wife Gwendelyn (Pecor) Durham, his son Raymond I Durham and daughter Lori Clark (Durham), his sister Maureen (Chuck) Larimer. He had 1 Nephew, 1 Niece, 1 Great Niece, 2 Grandchildren, 2 Stepsons, 5 Step Grandchildren and numerous cousins.

Ray graduated from Westminster High School  in CO in 1960. Ray followed in his Dads footsteps and entered the US Marine Corp on July 30th 1960 for 4 years. He was honorably discharged on July 29th 1964. He was very proud to be a Marine.

Ray was a loving Husband, Father, Brother and well respected friend to many.

He was a Glazier by trade. A perfectionist at his work. Ray cherished the great outdoors and RVing. In his younger years he was an advid Trial (yes Trial) bike rider, stock car driver, and was a pit crew member for Midget and Sprint race cars. His hobbies included camping and fishing. He loved watching all CO sports teams. Any sport that involved and ball, puck or an engine he loved it.

His Interment will be at Ft. Logan National Cemetery on Jan 15th 2020 at 10am. All to meet at staging area A at 9:45am to be escorted to the committal shelter.

Ray….loosing you has left a void in all of our lives. You are deeply missed.
