Obituary of Garland Wayne Jessee

Garland Wayne Jessee was born on March 3, 1935 to Grover Cleveland Jessee and Lorena Maize Meade in Castlewood Virginia. Wayne is survived by his daughter Peggy (Wayne) Henke, his older brother Jimmy (Joan) Jessee, his long-time companion Joann Chapdelaine, three grandsons Clint (Matt), Brian (Tahlia) and Nathan (Nicole), his great grandchildren Gavin (Kayla), Peggy June, Brandon and his great-great grandson, Jesse Lee Brown. Wayne was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis Jean Jessee and his younger brother Marvin Leo (Caroline) Jessee.

Wayne passed away on December 26, 2019, in Leesburg, Florida at the age of 84. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, great-great grandfather and a great cook!

Services will be held on January 16th, 2020 at Orchard Church, 12405 East 120th Avenue, Henderson, Colorado (Please enter through the OC Kids Entrance). A light breakfast will be provided at 9:30 with the service commencing at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Ft. Logan National Cemetery at noon. Please join us in celebrating a life well lived!
