Obituary of Deon F Carlson
Deon Frederick Carlson passed away with his wife and daughter by his side in Lakewood, Colorado on February 14, 2020 at the age of 80.
He is survived by his wife Louise, son Dan and wife Alice, son Tim and wife Lori, daughter Beth and nine grandchildren: Jonathan and wife Kelsye, Marissa, Emily, Shayla, Luke, Zachary, Adam, Brayden and Jacob. He is preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Esther Carlson, brothers Neil and Curt, and son-in-law Dave Goddard.
Deon was born on September 24, 1939 in Denver, Colorado. He graduated from South High school in 1957. Then he joined the U.S. Army and was stationed in Stuttgart, Germany. After military service, he married Louise, his sweetheart and forever love. Deon was a successful and respected insurance business owner for over 37 years. He loved to travel, fish and railroading. Deon was a beloved husband, father and grandfather.
His funeral service is scheduled on February 28 at 11:00 AM at St. Jude Catholic Church in Lakewood, Colorado followed by a reception. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Deon’s life.
