There's so much I can tell anyone about my grandpa, these are some of my favorite memories of him. Are waking up to him whistling our singing in Spanish, sitting at the table with him and grandma telling me story's about them growing up on the farms how he met grandma my favorite were his war stories. I would drive around the neighborhood and help pass out commodities to are neighbors he taught me about giving to others,we would go to Our Lady of Visitation from mass and other functions like the bazaar this church was a big part of the family growing up he would lend a hand and help anyone Anytime he truly was a genuine man with values an morals there aren't many men left like he was in this world from the good ol day's, I can take what he taught me and pass those traits on to my boy's he would always tell me "son don't take no wooden nickles" I will forever cherish my grandfather there won't be a day you won't cross my mind I Love You.

Our Sincere Condolences to the Family.
We have known Al & Cora for many years.
We enjoyed seeing them in church at OLV and sharing the honor of King and Queen one year together there with them. Al and Cora always helping out at the OLV bazar and in the kitchen. Al was a very easy going man and well loved. I remember years ago when I was young Al & Cora playing cards with my parents and Cora making tortillas for my Dad.
With all our love and Prayers,
Pierre & Yvette Lopez

I've known Al for 55 years. I remember him as a little girl at church. Always helping out at the bazaar, I remember the Halloween parties in the hall bobbing for apples. He was always busy volunteering at the church, food bank, you name it Al was always there. I was honored to be at his and Cora's 50th anniversary party at the church. Sitting around at the table at church before and during the bazaar telling jokes. Al was good at that. I would always run into Al and Cora at King Soopers, we would make eye contact with each other, and call each other trouble. He was good friends with my grandparents Moises and Esther. Rest in paradise my friend and neighbor on the hill. My heartfelt condolences to Cora and family.
Until we meet again.

Grandpa always gave the best advice. When I decided to drop out of high school I told him " Grandpa if I stay I will be almost 20 when I graduate" Grandpa says " Well hita, how old will you be if you don't?" . It's because of him I have a diploma. Grandpa never gave up on me even when I had given up on myself. I love you Gramps ❤️ You loved me more than I loved myself and I am forever blessed to have had a man like you in my life!

I met this family around 10 or 11 years ago! This wonderful couple took myself and my children in like family when my sister Valetina and Celina got married.
I am very honored to have known this man and to call him grandpa even though I am not of blood. He will forever be missed and I am grateful for him and Grandma Cora. My sympathies goes out to you all. The kids and I love and miss you all!

I remember Uncle Al from when I was a small girl. He always had a genuine kind smile, and he would give me snacks. Thank you for those memories. My love and hugs are with the whole family. God Bless
