A patriot, a gentleman, and a friend. We worked together at NORAD in the late 70s. What a blessing it was to renew our friendship several years ago.

Barry was an unsung hero of HQ NORAD and the missions inside Cheyenne Mountain. His dedication and loyalty to his job ensured that the computer systems so important to our national security were always up and running 24/7. He was always there when you needed him. He was a true professional . It was people like Barry that were behind the scene that won the Cold War. I was very fortunate to call Barry my friend and work alongside him.for over 30 years.

I remember Barry from being stationed at the same place in W. Germany in 1972-77.
We were on some of the Olympic teams (USAF) against the local German Army. We had fun on that day and at a joint German Army and USAF picnic on an island in the middle of the Rhine River. Also, it was good to see Barry and his wife, Margie, at Golden Corral sometimes.
We had some good time in W. Germany. He will be missed.
