Obituary of Judith Ann Maestrelli

I am sad to announce that my wife of 59 years passed last night in her extended care facility. Judy was 84 years old and she passed comfortably during the night.

Judy was a very accomplished woman having gotten a Bachelors of Science in Math and Physics and a minor in Spanish at Ursinus College in Collegeville Pennsylvania. She went on to get a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania’s Moore School of Electrical Engineering. She spent most of her adult life working on mainframe computers for NORAD as a systems analyst. She played first or second violin in the Pikes Peak Philharmonic. It was one of her great passions. She loved the outdoors and her dogs were another abiding passion. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the caregivers in her extended care facility for their unwavering support of her last days.

In lieu of flowers, any donations should be directed to the Pikes Peak Phil harmonic or to Hillsdale College in Hillsdale Michigan. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.

 I would also like to thank the many friends who supported me throughout this difficult time.
