David,
I do not know what brought me here today but this morning I'm suddenly thinking of your mom and sister and then I find you here. Like Joe and Bob, I was a part of your life in those "Mr Steak" days and seeing their comments brought back so many memories of all of us and how amazing all of it was. You were a part of special times and were truly a diamond in the rough. I’m so proud of you and all that you accomplished in your life. And I’m so happy you rescued Rocko. I also spend my life with a rescue, Brutus, and I am so blessed to be a part of his life as I’m sure you felt the same. You are so very special, David. Rest in peace my dear friend and God Bless.

I was roughly doing the math, and I think it's been about 40 years since we've seen each other, but I still fondly remember the young group of wild kids terrorizing Southwest Denver. We had a lot of fun. I'm sad that I didn't get to see you more recently than that, but I'm still gonna miss ya. My condolences to the family. Joe Paradise

Dear Dave,
You have left us too soon, and it saddens me that we did not have more time together.
I remember our younger years, gathering behind Mr. Steak, carousing all night in your truck, playing pool and generally just having a good time.
And who can forget the Happy Church. I remember going there with you and your Mom.
As time passes, we settle into our routines, and then, one day, we realize too many seasons have passed, and we suddenly think of matters long forgotten.
It is in this sense my friend, you can rest assured that you are always in our hearts, never to be forgotten, albeit remembered with fondness.
