Obituary of Raymond Podrybau

Vietnam War veteran, Technical Sergeant Raymond “Ray” Podrybau, 77, died peacefully at the Kindred Hospital in Denver, CO on October 27, 2020 at 11:00a.m. Sergeant Podrybau was born on February 21, 1943 in Indiana to William and Francis Podrybau. In 1961, he joined the Air Force and retired in 1981, after 20 years of service, with full honors. Following his retirement, he became a locksmith for Aurora Public Schools in 1983 and retired in 2004. Sergeant Podrybau was a brave and loyal airman, as well as a loving father and husband. He married Suwan Boonta April 12, 1982. He is survived by his wife Suwan Podrybau; his son Bill Podrybau; his 7 grandchildren; and his 2 great-grandchildren. He is proceeded in death by his son, LCPL “USMC” Ronald R. Podrybau; and daughter, Boo Carter. Due to the pandemic there will be no services for the public, there will be a closed viewing for family to attend. Flowers and donations may be sent to 2880 South Wheeling Way, Aurora, CO. 80014.
