Scott was our neighbor at St. Clair Place for years while we were kids. Apart from having a youthful heart and always wanting to make the neighborhood kids laugh, Scott was a skilled craftsman and valued the work that he did (I remember helping him build the playground as a teen and redoing the basketball hoop over and over to get it to the right height). Reading through the comments, it brings me joy to see that he made a decision for his faith! Rest easy pilgrim (as he used to say)!

One day in November 1976 Scott offered me and another friend of ours a ride home after school. A few blocks from home a crazy kid crashed his car into Scott's car. He was always a kind sole and worried about me after that accident. Rest in Peace my old friend.

Sending my condolences to all who knew and loved Scott. I grew up down the street from Scott, attending school with him including Swanson Elementary, North Arvada Jr High and Arvada High School. We shared may great times playing soccer, golfing , and overnight sleep overs. A great friend then and even a greater soldier. Rest In Peace. Prayers to the family and friends who knew how special he was. God Speed Mike Stuart

As a child, I remember always looking at my uncles upholstery shop. Later in life he helped me restore a few motorcycles seats, and they looked beautiful. I picked up a few of his skills, and appreciate having him mentor me. The morning he passed, I was finishing up this seat. Thanks Scott for giving me a gift that has supported me and my family!

Scott was a very talented person, one area that comes to mind is upholstery. I had a 1978 Toyota Celica that Scott and I reupholstered, and WOW! did it not look sharp!

Scott was special in his own right! We are sad but excited knowing without a doubt,...because of a decision that he made years ago, that he is in heaven! We don’t know how God may have used Scott while he was on earth! Uncle Les says that Scott has no doubt found the best golf course in heaven...he will miss a “friend”& golf buddy!

Hello Les&Patty. Thanks so much for your comment. I was a jr high and high school friend of Scotts. Have a lot of memories riding around in his souped up Malibu with a great stereo system! I really appreciate your sharing about his faith & the commitment he made years ago and the fact that he is in heaven now. Thats all that really matters is where will we spend eternity upon leaving this earth Can you share more about when and where he made his faith commitment? I'd be really interested knowing
