Obituary of Catherine Barbara Koehler

Peacefully at home with her sons and daughter, Cathy Koehler nee Roche went to be with her Lord at the age of 96. A loving wife, mother, grandma and great grandma.

Cathy was born in Newark, New Jersey. She moved to Elizabeth, NJ where she finished school and met her husband. They married after WWII, settled down and had 4 children, Ron, Hank, David and Kathy. The Koehler family moved to Houston, Texas in 1963 and moved to Dallas in 1972. Her husband suddenly passes away in August, 1974. Some years later, in 1991, she moved to Lakewood, Colorado where she happily lived out her remaining years.

Cathy loved to travel, oil paint, go to “the mountains”, entertain her grandchildren and great grandchildren, have picnics in parks and cooking for masses of family gatherings. She loved “ALL” family with all her heart and soul. Cathy was generous, fun loving and a very humorous lady. She loved to laugh and loved laughing at herself.

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, George and Katy Roche, her husband Hank Koehler, her brother and sister George Roche and Mary Conway, nee Roche. Cathy is survived by her loving children, Ron, Hank, David and Kathy. Four nieces and nephews, nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. All who of which love and will miss her tremendously.

Cathy will have a short family only service at the Fort Logan National Cemetery, then interned with her late husband Hank on Thursday, 15 2021 at 11:30 am.
