June Darlene Miller 

 

June Darlene Miller was born in Fennimore, Wisconsin to Albert and Barbara Howell. She grew up with three brothers, Larry Howell, Danny Howell, and Budd Howell. And three sisters, Linda Sabourin, Nancy Unash, and Mary Ann Heit.

 

She married Theodore (Ted) Morton Miller, Jr in 1960. The two met while attending church in Madison, Wisconsin. Both had a love of music and bonded over their favorite opera.

They lived in Wisconsin, North Dakota, Utah, and Idaho before moving to Hugoton, Kansas for retirement. After retirement, the two enjoyed summer trips to see family and found time to volunteer at the local hospice organization. Ted passed away in 2001.

 

She had three children, Molly, Charles, and Albert.

 

In 2016, June moved to Denver, Colorado where she lived at The Argyle Assisted Living residence.

 

She enjoyed visiting with family, helping out at church whenever she could, and working jigsaw puzzles.

 

She passed away on April 10, 2021 at the age of 85 in Denver, Colorado.

 

She is survived by her sisters Linda and Mary Ann, her brother Budd, her three children, and their spouses Amy and Emily Miller.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that memorials be sent in the form of donations to The Argyle.
