Richard joined the Army and served in Vietnam, 101st  Airborne Screaming Eagles and was Honorably discharged.

Richard enjoyed fishing, hunting, gambling, playing checkers, gardening, and planting beautiful flowers.

The Padilla family is grateful for the support and love during this difficult time. Please remember Richard always and forever.

Life is not measured by the numbers of breaths we take but by the number of moments that take our breath away.

" I am proud to salute my family and friends.

I will hold you close to my heart.

Until we meet again."
