Obituary of Melvin Lee Hoffman

   Melvin Lee Hoffman was born on October 11, 1941 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Leo Edwin Hoffman and Neva Morine Hoffman. He passed away on June 27, 2021 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Melvin is preceded in death by both of his parents. Surviving Melvin is his wife, Ardean Hoffman, sons; William Hoffman and Wendell Hoffman, daughter, Kim McKinney and brother, Ronald LeRoy Hoffman.

Melvin proudly and bravely served his country and was in the United States Air Force from 1961 to 1965 where he earned the rank of Airman SGT. After receiving his Associates in Criminology Melvin went on to become a lead custodian with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints until retirement.

A graveside service for Melvin will be held at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80910 on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 10:00AM.
