Obituary of Ersilia Marie Garbiso Hadden

Preceded in death by her parents Joe Garbiso and Mary Rice Garbiso, loving husband of fifty years Asa (Nick) Hadden, infant son Max Guerrero, son Raymond Guerrero, daughter-in-law Angela Guerrero and son-in-law Salomon Chavez. Seven brothers Gerald, Harold, Louie, Arthur, Phil, Gilbert and Dario. Three sisters Annie Escobar, Ida Colon, and Dolores Barela. She was also preceded in death by several brother in-laws and sisters-in-laws.

She is survived by her children Priscilla (Marvin) Peterson, Cindy (Glenn) Alire, Jay (Rose Ann) and Gloria Chavez. She also is survived numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren. Sisters-in-law Linda and Libby and brother-in-law John (Candy) Hadden and numerous nieces and nephews.

Siblings Richard (Cathy) Garbiso, Mary Ann Whitson, Ernest (Barb) Garbiso and Wayne Garbiso.

She was employed for several years at Colorado Fence Company and Broadmoor Laundry Facilities in Colorado Springs.

She enjoyed traveling with her family to various places in the U.S. and Mexico. She liked camping, watching court tv, old westerns, game shows, Denver Broncos, baseball and love to visit Cripple Creek in her free time.

She always welcomed guests to her home. She requested to make a memorial contribution to the Cancer Society for Children.

The family wishes to express appreciation and thanks to all the dedicated nurses and doctors who care for and assisted her care.

Family and friends will be received for the services and luncheon at Chapel of Memories 829 S. Hancock Av. Colo. Springs on July 9,2021 at 11:00 A.M.
