I had met “Chuey” about 1980 through some other characters, LowRent and MadDog. Also coming from the Chicago area, Ed and I hit it off. While I haven’t seen Ed in years, I’m very saddened to hear of his passing. Ed put me up a bunch of times while skiing when he lived near Empire. Not only skiing, but football games to CSU, and just hanging out. Ed will always be a big part of my fond memories when I lived in Colorado. My deepest condolences to Cathy and all of Ed’s family and a big thanks to Steve Dall for letting me know.

A better friend to enjoy life's pleasures with does not exist. He & I shared so many good times it's immeasurable. He was our "dad", led us on so many great adventures, and will be greatly missed by all his friends. The world is a little less fun & sadder without him
Steve "MD" Dall.

I'm sending condolences to Cathy, and all of Ed's family of loved ones, along with his large group of friends who loved him like a brother. Ed was a wonderful man with a great sense of humor that made many people laugh.
I met Ed in the '70's and have had the pleasure of hearing many of his funny stories and jokes over the years. He hosted Thanksgiving celebrations for many years, and we were all welcome at his table. I am grateful for knowing such a good-hearted man and I will miss him greatly. I'm sending my sincere sympathy and blessings to all.
