Thomas Sullivan
On Thursday, September 2, 2021, Thomas Sullivan passed away at the age of 74. Tom grew up in Natick, Massachusetts to Fred and Marzie Sullivan. He joined the Marine Corp in 1967 and was a Vietnam Veteran. In 1972, he moved to Colorado where he met Sue Gauthier. Together they lovingly raised 4 kids, Tonya, Shaun, Shelley and Tod. Tom earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Regis University.
Tom enjoyed sailing, leisurely bike rides and off the beaten path adventures looking for the perfect small town restaurant where he could share a beer and a hearty laugh. As a father, you could find him watching his children play their favorite sports or even volunteering as a coach when no one else would. He was a quiet soul with a quest for knowledge who made many friends because of his genuine interest in other people's lives.
Tom was preceded in death by his wife Sue, son Shaun and son-in-law Brad. He is survived by his children Tonya, Shelley and Tod, Don (son-in-law) and Andrea (daughter-in-law); grandchildren Colin, Ainsley, Zoe, Aiden, Makayla, Renicks and Liza; brother Bob and sister-in-law Tina, and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 12:00 pm at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to
