You know what. . . . . There are some family members who were raised calling you "Dolly" and no matter how many years passed or how old we became that's who you were. If we see you in Heaven, Don still won't be an option.
I need to thank you for some of my education. Since I cried and wouldn't get on the school bus, without your rides to and from school, I don't think I would have completed the 1st grade.
There were many times my mom and I depended on you for transportation, but the ride of the lifetime was in August, 1964, when you drove me and a friend to Red Rocks Park, so we could see the Beatles. You got us there and even early enough to get front row seats, center stage. Thank you for that one too.
The family backyard Barbecues at Fanny and Uncle Pete's were always a joy. Food, laughter and the infamous "Cubby Hole". At one of the gatherings you actually proved that one could run head-on into a clothesline pole and live through it.
Now you're flying with angels. Rest in Peace Dolly and thank you for being a part of our lives and the fond memories. You will forever be in our hearts.
We will keep your family in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
With Deepest Sympathy
Don and Sharon Fink

Rest in Peace Grandpa! It would have been an honor to simply know you, but to call you Grandpa and when I think about the important role you played in my life, I realize that having you was the greatest gift I will ever receive! I love you and miss you! Til next time.
