Grateful for our home beyond the clouds, our home far away, the home the Lord is still preparing for us....there are no good-byes to the family of God, only a brief farewell until believers are reunited with him in Glory. My absolute fondest memories of Uncle Lou are at the RED BARN RESTAURANT on Alameda in Lakewood, Colorado. I remember going in there with my mom and dad on Friday or Saturday nights to eat & see Uncle Lou working. He treated us to ice cream! I remember feeling SO IMPORTANT that somehow THIS WAS MY UNCLE'S RESTAURANT!!! I miss those days and look forward to serving our Saviour alongside family in HEAVEN. I love my COZZA HERITAGE an am grateful for the foundation laid. Love to you each and all!!!

Grateful to all of my Cozza Family! 32 years ago, when I became engaged to Mark, Dad immediately welcomed me with open arms and gave me a home where I felt loved, valued, safe, and not judged!
One of my first memories of Dad, was seeing him and his Dad, these two Italians, fussing with each other over how to properly smoke a hog, which they were doing for our wedding reception on Flagstaff Mountain above Boulder. Dad was smiling even after he got a ticket for an open fire - who knew a forest fire was raging not far away?! Another that makes me chuckle is the first time he handed me a bottle and told me to feed a calf - I was a city girl! And the time when he sent my sister-in-law, Anna, and me into a neighbor's field to stop his run away cattle. We were like these two little stick people out there, waving our arms, trying to stop a determined bull. Dad was baffled that we couldn't stop them and turn them back.
This family is a gift! They hold to the traditional values of Faith, Family, Freedom, Respect for these United States, Work Ethic, Personal Responsibility, Courtesy and Generosity! This family is authentic, warm, generous and loving, and I cannot imagine my life without any of them!
Sure will miss you, Dad! Will miss your mischievous grins, your flirtatious smiles, the sounds of your chuckle, and the warmth of your hugs! Without you I wouldn't have my best friend, partner and love of my life, Mark, or the four amazing peeps we got to parent and now run with in life!
Love you, Mom!! You modeled well for us the unconditional love of a devoted wife, committed partner and forever friend as we watched you compassionately care for Dad, especially over these past several years before he went to be with our Lord!
Well done!! Thank you for who you are and for loving all of us! We are here with you and for you!
