My Aunt Lucy was beautiful inside and out and was loved by our family very much. She was my Mom's favorite sister and our favorite aunt. We were always excited when she came to visit and would prepare her favorite dinner in hopes that she would join us. Her smile always lit up the room and her laughter was contagious. My best memory has to be the last time we got together with all four sisters and seeing how happy they were to be together. I will forever love and miss her. Condolences and much love for my cousins Jo and Ralph. Rest in Paradise Auntie Lucy.

Although I did not get to meet Lucy in person, I felt as if I knew her vividly through her beautiful daughter Mona. Mona would often share stories of her Mom and of the funny things she would say and do. One thing is for sure, Lucy would speak her mind and "tell it like it is" which is a quality I have always admired. She was not afraid of anything or anybody. She was that rare combination of sassy and sweet. And the apple didn't fall far from the tree, because Mona is the same. She is one of the sweetest, kindest, most genuine, generous, and honest people I have the privilege of knowing. Mona is my cherished friend of many years and ever since I've known her, she has been the best and most devoted daughter to both of her parents. She took care of her Dad when he was sick and was always there caring for her Mom. She went above and beyond. Mona is that same type of friend too - always there any time rain or shine if you need anything, need help with something, and the cheerful voice on the phone if you just need to talk. A few years back when I had a particularly bad cold, there was Mona at the door with chicken noodle soup and groceries! The times she has done similar things like this are too numerous to count. She truly is a Guardian Angel. One thing is for sure, the memory and legacy of Mona's beloved Mom will live on forever in our hearts. And every time we get together over coffee or lunch, Mona and I will continue to keep her memory alive by telling her stories and sharing tears, laughter and our special friendship. Always, Sally

My sympathies to Mona and Ralph and the rest of Lucy's family. I know that she loved you deeply and you will forever miss her. My fondest memory of Lucy is when I went to a buffet with her and Mona and Lucy had a baggie to fill with leftovers. She was putting some food in this baggie just as the manager walked by to ask if everything was ok.... Lucy looked him straight in the eyes and said " don't ask stupid questions" ! I enjoyed her sense of humor and still laugh about that day. As you mourn the loss of your mom, may you find strength in all of your wonderful memories together. She will never be far from your heart.

Ralph and Ramona, sending our sincere condolences. Moms are the best! Sometimes we take for granted all the amazing things
the've done during our lifetimes however the emptiness we feel when they are gone is so deep that only the love and fond memories help to get us through, they remind us of how much we were loved. Hold tight to that love and know she is resting waiting to reunite again.
My favorite memory of her is that amazing smile, seen best in her youthful photo. Her eyes would melt heart. That and how she cleaned beanes. Sounds strange but I think of her whenever I cook a batch!
