Obituary of Martin Joseph Kuettel

   Martin J. Kuettel, age 91, passed away on November 20, 2021 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born on April 21, 1930 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Martin F. Kuettel and Barbara (Worth) Kuettel.

Martin is preceded in death by both of his parents, Martin and Barbara Kuettel, wife; Elizabeth Ann (Ackerman) Kuettel and sisters; Bernadine and Lucille. 

He is survived by his cousin, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. 

Marty, a Chief Master Sergeant, spent 28 years in the United States Air Force avionics, traveling the world with his wife. He worked in various capacities not only as a mechanic, but an instructor and radar system developer. 

After retirement he went on to run an appliance repair business. 

Marty's favorite hobby was fishing and was always looking for an opportunity to head to the lake and fish. 

Funeral Services for Marty will be held at Our Lady of the Pines Catholic Church, 11020 Teachout Rd. Black Forest, CO 80908 on Thursday, December 9, 2021. A viewing will take place at 10:00AM on Thursday, December 9, 2021 with a funeral immediately following at 10:30AM. Following the funeral service a graveside service will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery with military honors at 1:00PM.
