Rosella and I worked side by side at DFAS. We had a great coworker relationship. Always laughing at each other and others. She will be missed for sure. Condolences to the Davis family.

We had the pleasure of being neighbors with Rosella for 23 years. She was the first to welcome us to the neighborhood and was a GREAT neighbor. She was always willing to watch our house and go over and let our dog out when we would be gone on a trip. We would return the favor whenever she would be gone on a trip. I enjoyed the stories that she would tell about the kids and grandkids. We would stand in the driveways for an hour at a time talking about lots of different things. Whenever she would see me outside she would say oh "Joanne I have to tell you" I loved those conversations. She offered to pick up my kids from school if need be and she offered to take my Dad to appointments at the VA. She is and will be dearly missed and I will miss her calling me Joanne. Our deepest sympathies go out to the whole Davis family.

Rosella made friends wherever she went, when I moved to Colorado over 20 years ago she made me feel welcome, she made everyone feel like they were her best friend. She made the baggage service office her kingdom, if passengers were upset when they walked in the door of her office they forgot all about it when they walked out. She really cared about people. She called me her “diamond girl” she always said I reminded her of daughter. I feel honored and privilege to known her, I loved being her supervisor at the airport , but most of all to be called her friend. She definitely made this world a better place and made a difference wherever she went. I would miss her beautiful smile and tender soul. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. She is definitely an Angel to all of us. Sonia Lindquist.

Rosella has been my neighbor for the last 28 years. During that time, we have shared stories over the fence or at her front door countless times. We have helped each other out, watching each other's various pets, picking up the mail when one of us was out of town, borrowing this or that, and generally, just being quite neighborly. She had a unique way of telling stories, whether they be about her children or her sisters, or some funny thing that happened at the airport or just life on a daily basis. I spoke with her on the phone for over an hour the day before she passed, and she was excited for the trip she was about to embark upon. I am deeply saddened by the news of her passing. I will miss her hilarious and unique laugh and her special way of punctuating and accentuating whatever story she was sharing. My prayers go out to the Davis family. God bless you and keep you, Rosella. I miss you terribly already.

I will never forget the day you and I met - it was an instant connection that has lasted over 45 years. You were such a special person in my life! I will always and forever miss you and our phone conversations that lasted for hours about everything. So many memories made with you - thank you for taking me to my first professional basketball game and what fun we had when we went to see the Rockettes and Diana Ross, and on and on you went sharing new things with me. Enjoyed every single day with you at work as we progressed at Lowry and DFAS in our careers - so many good things to think back on. You were truly a wonderful mother to your four beautiful, successful children and a super Grandmother. Each and every one of them are special to me in their own way and know I will always be here for them Rest in peace my dear friend. Always in my heart!! Bonnie Lee
