Obituary of Joseph J. Turner Jr.

   Joseph J. Turner Jr., age 78, sadly passed away on December 28, 2021 in the comfort of his own home in Peyton, Colorado. He was born on October 15, 1942 to Joseph J. Turner Sr. and Ellen Eloise Gray. 

Joseph is preceded in death by his father; Joseph J. Turner Sr., mother; Ellen Eloise Turner, brother; Richard Turner, sister; Lorraine Turner and first wife, Inez Mary Smith. 

Those left behind to cherish his memory are loving wife; Regina "Gina" J. Turner, sons; Dean (Kendra) Turner, David (Colleen) Turner, Anthony (Sonya) Turner, Jim (Colleen) Turner, and sister; Virginia (Bobby) Turner.

Joseph honorably served his country in the United States Air Force and retired with the rank of Master Seargant in 1981 after serving over 20 years. He also worked as a systems engineer for the government. 

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 10:00AM at Vista Grande Baptist Church. 5680 Stetson Hills Blvd. Colorado Springs, Colorado 80917. 

Joseph will be laid to rest privately at Pikes Peak National Cemetery.
