Obituary of James Avald Becker I

   James Alvald Becker I, age 75, passed away on January 14, 2022 in Parker, Colorado. He was born on March 4, 1946 to John Herman Becker and Floy Elizabeth Bromsted Becker. 

James went to South High School and furthered his education by attending Metro State University where he earned his Bachelor's Degree. 

He also honorably served his country and joined not only the United States Navy (Aviation Ordinanceman Petty Officer 2nd Class) but the United States Army as well (Captain).

James worked as an x-ray technician at St. Joseph's Hospital. 

He was affiliated with quite a few different organizations;  Highlander Boys, ROTC (Company Commander), Free Masons (Grand Lodge of Colorado), Warder of the Eastern Stars of Colorado and President Director of the Board for Cunningham Fire Dept. (now part of South Metro Fire).

James is preceded in death by both his parents; John Herman Becker and Floy Elizabeth Becker and son, Preston Becker.

Those left behind to cherish James' memory are loving wife; Linda Lou Yeater Becker, daughter; Brenda Fletcher, son-in-law; Alan Fletcher, granddaughter; Makayla Fletcher, son; James Becker II, daughter-in-law; Carissa Becker, granddaughter; Carmilyke Becker, grandsons; James Becker III and Johnathon Becker, daughter-in-law; Ashley Becker, granddaughter; Addison Becker and grandson; Kellen Becker, daughter; Alisha Horton, son-in-law; Grant Horton, grandsons; Gabriel Horton, Aiden Horton and granddaughter; Annabelle Horton.

A memorial service will be held for James on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 2:00PM at Pinecrest Community Church 7165 N. Delbert Rd. Parker, CO 80138.
