Obituary of Jack Weston Tubbs

Jack Weston Tubbs, June 4, 1930-January 27, 2022

Jack Weston Tubbs passed away on January 27,2022, after a long illness. He was 91 years old. Jack retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Chief Master Sergeant after 26 years. After retiring, he worked as a high school math teacher in Weleetka, Oklahoma. He then worked as a Social Worker for the State of Oklahoma. Jack also served as the mayor and as a volunteer fire fighter in Weleetka, Oklahoma. Jack then enjoyed traveling around the country in his motor home with his wife, Ruby, for several years. They then moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado. Jack loved his family. He is survived by his wife, Ruby Tubbs, daughter, Marce Garrett, and son, Jack Tubbs, Jr. and wife, Carrie. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Christopher Garrett, Jennifer Garrett, Ryan Garrett, Jackson Tubbs, Nicholas Tubbs, Connor Tubbs, Jordan Tubbs, Jillian Stanley, Caitlyn Houghton, Hannah Mitchell, Avery Tubbs, and Trinity Stanley. He will be buried with military honors at Pikes Peak National Cemetery in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on February 25, 2022.
