Obituary of Myrna Lee Worley

Myrna Lee Worley (Miczanko), 79, of Thornton Colorado, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 17, 2022. She was proceeded in death by her husband Jerry Worley, her parents James and Mabel Miczanko, brother Jim and a host of other family and friends.

Myrna was born September 13, 1942, in Denver, Colorado. She is the daughter of James and Mabel Miczanko and was one of 5 children. She married Jerry Worley at the age of 17, in Castle Rock and they also had 5 children. She lived most of her life in Thornton, Colorado, where she worked and raised her family.

She is survived by her 5 children, Jerry Worley Jr., Charles Worley, Shayne Worley, Robin Hoyer and Cindy Hill. She was a grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her 3 sisters, Bonnie Bank, Esta Anderson, and Kim James.

Myrna loved her family deeply and was known for having a listening ear when you needed one. She was a friend to many, and people loved her honest and funny personality. She was a strong spirit, positive soul and wonderful woman and mother, who fought the battle of cancer and other illnesses like a true warrior. In her own words, she said “I have lived a long and full life.” She is deeply loved and will be truly missed.

Services will be held on Saturday, April 23rd at 12:30pm at Life Fellowship 3400 Industrial Lane, Broomfield, CO. In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to Life Fellowship or any charity of your choosing.
