Bronislaw Babiniec

August 28, 1925 – March 12, 2022

Bronislaw (Bruno) Babiniec, loving father and grandfather, passed away on March 12, 2022 at age 96. Bruno was born on August 28, 1925 in Dobra, Poland to Jan Babiniec and Anna Mrozek. After moving to the United States, he proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean war.

Bruno was known for his kind heart and gentle and loving manner. He always put his family first. He enjoyed ballroom dancing, playing cards and enjoying a good meal with family and friends. He was a generous and hard-working man with an incredible work ethic.

Bruno was preceded in death by his father and mother, his wife Zofia Kowalewsky and his son, Dennis Babiniec.

He is survived by his sisters Teresa, Zosia and Marya, his daughter Lorraine (Greg) Armgardt, son James Babiniec, daughter-in-law Katherine Babiniec, grandchildren Alex (Amanda Joy) Babiniec, Sean (Ashley) Babiniec and Sara Armgardt, and stepchildren Krzysztof Kowalewski and Hanna Rybicki.

Bruno will be laid to rest at Fort Logan National Cemetary, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd, Denver, Colorado 80235 on April 25th, 2022, at 1 pm with military honors.
