Obituary of Rosemary Bates

Rosemary Bates went home to be with Jesus on April 5, 2022 at the age of 96. She was born to Louis and Rosa Escher on February 8, 1926 in Herndon, Kansas. Rosemary met her husband Jerome in 1947 at Fitzsimmons Army Base. They married the following year.

Rosemary had a strong Christian faith and was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church for many years mandating communion and attending mass almost daily. She and her husband, Jerome, ran the St. Pius X Church Credit Union for many years. Rosemary enjoyed golf and cards.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her mom, Rosa, her dad, Louis, three brothers, Francis, Loren and Herman, husband, Jerome, a grandchild, Jeffrey, and two great grandchildren, Uriah and Tenley. Rosemary is survived by many loving family members including five children and their spouses, Thomas and Rhonda, Donald and Marcia, Janet and Kim, Judith and Ron and Shelley and Maynard; eleven grandchildren and their spouses including Michael (Katherine), Leanne (Chris), Matthew, Cherri, Eric (Leanne), Nicole Joe), Christopher (Kathryn), Daniel (Kelly), Ryan (Emily), Brett and Makenzie (Dylan), and sixteen great grandchildren including Ethan, Emily, Sloan, Cooper, Jordan, Michael, Landon, Ellie, Corban, Bella, Chrisember, Freddie, Austin, Drew, Lilly and Ethan.
