Obituary of Gert Siegfried Bindrich

Gert Siegfried Bindrich, 82, of Colorado Springs, CO passed away on 8 June 2022.

Gert served over 20 years in the U.S. Army where he earned two bronze star medals during his service in the Vietnam War. After retiring from the Army Gert then served an additional 20 years as a Civil Service employee supporting the military through his passion of aviation.

Gert enjoyed spending his free time fishing and did so at many places throughout his travels from Panama to Alaska.

Gert was pre-deceased by his parents, Richard & Gerda McCollum, his late wife Joyce and his daughter, Tammy.

Upon his death he leaves behind his wife, Maria; his son, Scott & his wife Cindy; daughter April & her husband Mike and their daughters Mackenzie & Morgan and grandchildren Erin, Jamie & Andrew and many great-grandchildren. Gert also is survived by extended family and friends that will miss him terribly.
