Obituary of Patricia Ann Cowger

COWGER, PATRICIA A. Passed away peacefully on August 10, 2022.

She is survived by her husband, Lester; son Bradley (Nora); son Jeffrey; daughter Lisa; son Leslie (Kimberly); 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Patricia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Patricia loved her family, both hers and her husband’s. She loved her husband with all her heart, soul, and mind. Both of them knew what the other one was doing.

Whatever she and Les did, they did together throughout their 67-year marriage. They never went to bed mad at each other. Raising their family was a team effort. She managed the house while he worked to provide for her and the kids. She was devoted to the Lord and made sure that her children knew Him, as well. She and her husband enjoyed traveling when they could, to see family, or just to go somewhere with family and friends.

Patricia was devoted to her friends. Once you were her friend, you were her friend for life. She cared deeply, and loved others. She kept in contact with her friends up until the later years in her life when her memory wouldn’t allow her to.

She enjoyed music, laughter, and dancing. She was quick with a wink and a smile. Patricia loved to sing, especially in the choir. At home, you could hear her sing along with any song that was playing. She will be missed dearly by her family and her friends.
