Joseph Louis Hutton Jr. 

 

Joseph Louis Hutton Jr. (Joe) born September 1944 passed away at the Brookdale Senior care home in Denver in December 2022. 

Joe was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and grew up in Boulder Colorado to Joseph Sr. and Carmel Hutton.  Joe graduated with a business degree from The University of Colorado at Boulder.  After graduation Joe served as a sergeant in the US Army stationed in Vietnam for two tours of duty from 1968 to 1970.  After his time in service Joe moved to Chicago and worked in the equities/financial futures business on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, at Merrill Lynch and Kidder Peabody. 

Joseph loved the mountains of Colorado as an avid and competitive skier Joe was a force on the mountains of Colorado well into his 70s.  Golf was another love of Joe’s life as he carried a low single digit handicap for many years with his amazing tempo and smooth swing. Loved dearly by those who knew Joe, he will forever be remembered for his kind spirit and great intellect. 

Joe is survived by his brother John Hutton of Denver, Colorado, and his two sons Blair Hutton of Vero Beach, Florida and James Hutton of Chicago, Illinois.  Joe had 3 grandchildren Graham, Griffin and Lillard Hutton all from Vero Beach Florida.   Please kindly donate to the Parkinson’s Foundation at Parkinson.org in remembrance of Joseph Louis Hutton Jr.
