Obituary of JoAn Stutzman

JoAn Stutzman

 

JoAn, born September 15, 1931 in Milford, Nebraska, the fourth of five children born to Bert and Elsie (Yeackley) Stutzman, went to her eternal home on January 17, 2023 at the age of 91 years, 4 months, 2 days.  

 

JoAn Stutzman (who didn’t need to change her last name) was married to Ellis Stutzman on December 20, 1950.  

 

Ellis and JoAn were blessed with 8 children. Barry (who died shortly after birth); Jeri; Marty; Wendy (who died shortly after birth); Monty; Baby Boy (who died during delivery); Kris; Todd; and 2 grandchildren, Marissa and Connor.  

 

JoAn’s favorite color was purple, she loved watching sports (especially the Rockies), drank hot cocoa with every meal and had a walker decorated for every holiday. Earlier in life she was an avid bowler and golfer. She was a Bingo Queen and had a cup to keep her winning quarters in.  

 

JoAn will take her place on February 17, 2023 at Ft. Logan National Cemetery beside her husband Ellis (who died November 10, 2006).
