Obituary of William Whitus

It is with great sadness the family of William “Bill” Whitus announce his passing at the family home on February 28, 2023. He leaves behind Donna, his loving wife of 23 years, and a large blended family which includes his children D’Arlen Whitus, Grant (Carrie) Whitus and Deirdre (Darryl) Baldwin by his deceased wife, Janice, and Donna’s daughters Kelly (Sabra) Boudreaux, Kathy (Troy) Pearson, and Kimberly (Rama) Crouch-Wong. Bill is the grandfather of 14 and great-grandfather of 11. He is survived by two brothers, Willie (Lorie) Dixon and Norwood Dixon, Jr. After his retirement from the US Geological Survey in 2004, he and Donna enjoyed traveling across the world and many wonderful cruises.

His funeral service and reception will be held at St. Michael of the Archangel Catholic Church, 19099 E. Floyd Ave., Aurora, CO, on March 14th, at 10:30.
