Mimi Naleski

Obituary of Mimi Naleski

Who would have “thunk” knowing Mimi at Heidelberg High School, Germany in 1993 would culminate into 55 years of bliss.  Madeleine (Caisse) Naleski better known to all as Mimi passed away unexpectedly on February 16, 2023, in her home in Black Forest, Colorado in peace with her husband by her side at the age of 74 and after dealing with Early on Set Dementia for the past 12 years.

As a couple and as a family, she shared 30 years of military life with her husband enjoying travels throughout the US and other parts of the world. What made Mimi a gift was her soul; it was a gentle wind for all to feel. “Listening to the beat of her heart in sync with the heart of Christ was her spiritual discipline”. Mimi had several wonderful traits and one was she would hug until she was ready to let you go.

Mimi is survived by her spouse, Gary and lovingly remembered by her children Melissa and Greg and Carmie, Greg’s wife and sorely missed by two grandchildren Madeleine (Maddy) and Mary (Molly).  Mimi is also survived by her brother, Paul Caisse, his wife Phillis, and sister Julianne (Caisse) Andersen and husband Stan.

A memorial service is being planned for a date to be announced soon.

Mimi will be interned at Pikes Peak National Cemetery, Colorado Springs, Colorado.

In lieu of flowers and remembrances please consider prayers and memories of Mimi.
