Obituary of Lawrence Vere Gunther Sr.

Lawrence Vere Gunther Sr., 73, passed away at his home in Thornton, Colorado on March 18, 2023. He will be remembered by his kindness, hard work, generosity, faith, quick wit, and honorable service in the Army. 

Larry was born April 13, 1949 in Broken Bow, Nebraska to parents Bernard and Alice. Larry was married to the love of his life, his soulmate Angie for almost 35 years. Larry had three children he was very proud of, Larry Jr, Christina and Angela. Larry had seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren that were the light of his life Victoria, Autym, Kalani, Brysen, Jane, Braelyn, Ainsley and Lennon. 

Larry was very successful in his career as a construction engineer for Vicorp Restaurants, and owned a video store and flower shop for many years. He enjoyed reading books, watching movies, rooting his Denver broncos on, and talking about his past times with friends. 

Larry will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

Funeral Mass: 10:15am- 11:15am

Reception immediately following mass at the church hall - 11:15am- 12:30pm

Military Honors - 1:30pm at Fort Logan Cemetery
