Obituary of Mary Jane Dunlap

Mary Jane Dunlap, 86, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2022 in Wheat Ridge, Co. She is survived by five sons and seven grandchildren.

Janie as she preferred to be a called was born on October 4, 1936 in Denver, Co to Roberta & Daniel Peery, she was the youngest of their 4 children.

Janie married Norman Dunlap on May 1, 1955 in Raton, New Mexico. During their 59 year union she first performed the most important job of raising their 5 sons and maintaining the always fun household. After the eating machines got older and moved away her desire to work outside the home got the better of her & Norm and they purchased a coin Laundromat business close to their home in Evergreen, Co. Eventually they moved to Wheat Ridge to retire.

Janie enjoyed spending time with her grand children, walking on the beach and watching & cheering on the Broncos and Avalanche. Burial services will be held at Ft Logan Cemetery on May 1st, 2023 at 1:30 pm (Staging area B). Reception to follow at Clancy’s Irish Pub – 7000 W 38th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO from 2:30-4:00 pm
