Obituary of Donald Laurence Fulsos

DONALD "FUZZIE" LAURENCE FULSOS

1-5-1936 TO 3-20-2023

 

Donald Laurence Fulsos died March 20, 2023 at the age of 87.

He lived in Westminster for 41 years. Donald was a Colorado native born on January 5, 1936 in Falcon, Colorado. He grew up in Falcon on a small farm with his parents William Fulsos and Elsie Gochnauer Fulsos and his sisters Evelyn and Carol.

At the age of 17, Donald joined the Marines and toured in Korea. He also served in the Navy Reserves. Donald loved to dance and loved visiting Hawaii having vacationed/served over 30 times. Donald worked for the federal government and retired from the Bureau of Standards nka NIST.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents, William and Elsie, his sister Carol and a grandson and a great grandson.

Donald is survived by his sister Evelyn Clair and his children Brenda Jackson Huff, Christina McAteer, Keith Fulsos, Douglas Morgan, Shane Baker and Jon Lewis and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
