Obituary of Carolyn J. Alexander

Carolyn J Alexander, 91, of Villa at Sunny Acres in Thornton, Colorado went home to be with the Lord on April 17, 2023. Carolyn was born on September 5, 1931, in Carthage, Missouri to Richard and Mildred Jansen.

Carolyn grew up in Carthage, Missouri and graduated from Carthage High School in 1949. She went on to get her Bachelor’s in Religion from Park College and her Master’s in Education from Xavier University.

Carolyn married James N. Alexander on August 14, 1954.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Jim Alexander of Villa at Sunny Acres in Thornton, Colorado, her three sons: Bob (wife Paula), David (wife Beverly), and Thomas (wife Janet), 9 grandchildren, 2 greatgrandchildren, and sisters Jean Ashley (Brown) and Helen McDonald.

Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at Villa at Sunny Acres in Thornton, Colorado in the Community Room of the Ambassador Building on May 6, 2023, at 10:30 AM.
