Obituary of Denise Amorin Wygal

Denise A. Wygal age, 76, sadly passed away on April 6, 2023 at her home in Denver, Colorado. She was born on December 1, 1946 in New York, New York to parents Roberto Amorin and Ruth Cartagena. Denise was later adopted by her adopted father Carlos Cartagena.

After graduating from high school Denise enlisted in the United States Army and earned the rank of Sergeant before being honorably discharged in 1983. Denise worked for JoAnn Fabric as a professional picture framer before retiring. 

Preceding Denise in death are her parents Ruth Cartagena and Carlos Caragena, biological father Roberto Amorin and son Jason Christopher Kaye. 

Those left behind to cherish Denise's memory are loving daughters Samantha Kaye and Beth Strang and grandson's Warren, Connor and Xander. 

A Committal Service will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 9:30AM with United States Army Honors. Immediately following a Celebration of Life service will be held at 2966 S. Sheridan Blvd. Denver, CO 80227.
