Obituary of Marie Cargil

Marie was called home on November 15, 2023.  Born November 9, 1933 and raised in Mississippi where she met and married Bobby R. Cargil. 

As a military wife,  was stationed in Germany twice and loved the history, learning about where she lived and places she visited. 

She had a genuine interest in people and their lives.

She loved crossword puzzles, shopping,  baseball, football, dogs and Christmas - she also knew all the answers on Jeopardy.  Her quick wit, humor, thoughtfulness, and generosity will be forever missed. 

Preceded in death by her brother JC Hood, sister Stella Calhoun and husband of 55 years, Bobby Cargil.  She is survived by her daughter, Lauren (Mark) Connolly.

Service will be held December 16, 2023 in Mississippi.
