Obituary of Arthur Cleveland Carter

 

Arthur Cleveland Carter, 80, of Broomfield, Colorado, passed away on December 5th, 2023, after bravely battling Alzheimer's disease. Affectionately known as Cleve, he was born on April 14, 1943, in Elba, Alabama, to Henry and Nettie Carter. Art enlisted in the US Navy on April 16, 1966, serving his country with honor. Following his service in Vietnam, he relocated to Colorado, venturing into the automotive industry.

 

Art found joy in various activities, including golf, fishing, bowling, and boating, embracing each moment with passion and enthusiasm.

 

He is survived by his daughter, Megan Madsen, and son-in-law, Chris Madsen grandchildren Kaden and Kennidy Madsen, as well as his sons, Jimmy (Gina) Carter and Richard (Bonnie) Carter, and daughter, Tammy (Marc) Sauve. Art is also survived by his brother, Larry (Marilyn) Carter, and leaves behind a legacy of love to numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

 

Services to honor his life will be held on Wednesday, December 20th, at 9:30 AM at Fort Logan National Cemetery staging area C. Guests are kindly requested to arrive 15-30 minutes before the service. Lunch reception to follow.

 

Art's infectious laughter and striking blue eyes will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing
