Obituary of William "Bill" Dale Anderson

William, Bill to those who knew and loved him, passed peacefully with his loving wife, Sunnie Anderson beside him at his home on November 30, 2023.

He was born on January 7, 1945 to parents Robert and Donna Anderson in Portsmouth, Ohio.

Bill graduated from Kent Meridian High School in Kent,Washington and went on to attend Highline Community College, and graduated from the University of Puget Sound. Bill proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1964 to 1968. He served in the 35th Air Defense Missile Squadron as a Sergeant, stationed in Cam Ranh Bay, Republic of Vietnam.

After being honorably discharged Anderson’s commitment to his country continued as he worked in various telecom companies and government contracts, managing many projects. His strong commitment to his community and his country was evident in his service to Sunrise United Methodist Church and Mercy’s Gate. He was also involved in many mission trips -local, national, and international-leaving a legacy of service.

Preceded in death are mother, Donna Anderson, brothers, Tim and Mike Anderson.

Surviving are father, Robert Anderson, loving wife Sunnie Anderson, daughter Stephanie (Scott) Happ, son Kevin (Laura) Anderson, siblings Patti Anderson, Cindy (Scott) Keaton, Carol (Jeff) Seppi, as well as many nieces (3), nephews (3) and grandchildren (10).

Military honors will take place at Pikes Peak National Cemetery at 11:00 am December 15th.

Celebration of Life will follow at Sunrise United Methodist Church at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sunrise UMC Mission Team or Mercy’s Gate.
