Obituary of Donna Mae Price

Donna Mae Price, age 88, passed away on Christmas Day in Thornton, Colorado in the comfort of her own home of 60 years with family by her side.

She was born on March 28, 1935 in Nebraska to father Carl Alber and mother Jeanette Bartling.

Preceded in death are her father Carl Alber, mother Jeanette Lehman, step-father Don Lehman, brother Gene, son Reiny Lee, daughter Peggy Mai Hurtubise, first husband Reiny Mai and her most recent husband William Price.

Those left behind to cherish Donna Mae's memory are her four loving children, two step-children, 10 grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and 18 step great grandchildren. 

Donna Mae was loved by all; she was a wonderful mother and doting grandmother. Throughout her life she wrote in a journal every day until she wasn't able to write anymore. She loved painting, playing the piano, sewing, working in her garden, reading a good book and watching her favorite shows "Naked and Afraid", "Dancing With The Stars" and "Family Feud". She lit up every room she entered with her beautiful smile and laugh. She was very active and spent a lot of time walking through her neighborhood and dropping in to visit with her neighbors, she also loved going to church and connecting with her church community.  Donna Mae also loved being pampered by her children; she never turned down a foot or back massage or having her hair brushed. 

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.

Inurnment will take place at Fort Logan National Cemetery where Donna Mae will be laid to rest with her late husband William J. Price.
