Obituary of Charles "Charlie" Alton Bradbury

Charles Bradbury, 78, of Fountain, Colorado passed away on November 28, 2023.

Charles (aka Charlie) was born on March 31, 1945 in Maine to Alvin and Dorothy Bradbury. They moved to Florida when Charles was thirteen years old but still considered himself a Mainer. He joined the Air Force at the height of the Vietnam War and was fortunate to be part of the USAF Academy Band which allowed him to travel around the world. He played clarinet which he had been playing since he was 12 years old.

After Charlie retired from the Air Force he started a second career working in the computer industry. He was completely self taught in both hardware and software. Gates Computers recognized his talent and hired him in the IT department. He was also the go to guy when computer issues came up with friends and family.

In September 1983 he married his wife Anne. Anne passed away two weeks after he did. They were married for 40 years.

Charlie had a dry sense of humor and was particular with whom he shared his history with. He was a member of the Security Church of the Nazarene where he helped with the sound equipment. It was one of the few places that he truly enjoyed being and loved the people there.

Services for both him and his wife are to be held Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 1:00PM at Security Church of the Nazarene/Life Community Church 800 Hackberry Drive Security, Colorado 80911.
