Obituary of Margaret Ann Armstrong

Margaret (Peggy) Armstrong passed peacefully from this life on January 15th, 2024. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Eugene (Gene); daughter Terri; sons Brian and Tony; and her grandchildren.

A Colorado native, born in Pueblo on November 22, 1941, daughter to Louis and Mary Angone, Peggy spent the majority of her life in Colorado Springs. It was there she met and married Gene, and where they raised their children.

Peggy worked for various employers throughout her career, including UCCS, and Colorado Department of Corrections, from which she retired along with Gene in the 1990s.

A long-time member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, Peggy cherished her spiritual family and regularly attended bible study and Sunday services, as well as serving as deacon.

A great lover of art, and an artist herself, Peggy also loved reading, animals, music, and travel. She loved time spent with family and friends and would often have a large number of guests at the table for a dinner of spaghetti and garlic bread, a family tradition she loved to share.
