Obituary of Joseph Thomas Latka

Joseph Latka, age 64 of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away peacefully February 1, 2024, at Memorial Hospital with family by his side. Joseph was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York on February 14, 1959 to Louise and Joseph Latka (deceased). He was the youngest of three children, Lucy Latka-Radian and Frances Latka.

As an Army veteran, Joseph was a man of simple pleasures and profound passions. He found immense joy in cheering for the Mets, losing himself in the melodies of Pink Floyd, and spending leisurely afternoons at the dog park with his cherished companion, Rusty.

He is survived by his wife, Lyn Latka and his sons, Gregory and Jeffrey Latka. Additionally, Joseph is remembered by his children from a previous marriage, Melissa Latka (deceased), Joseph Latka and Jennifer Latka (deceased). He also had 10 grandchildren, Joseph, Alexa, Maximo, Brianna, Christian, Gabrielle, Kayla, Jason, Nolan and Rowyn.
