Obituary of Ronald Michael Suitt

Ronald Michael Suitt, born in Ocala, North Carolina on June 8, 1947.  A cherished husband, devoted father, retired United States Air Force veteran, and passionate craftsman, passed away on February 15, 2024, leaving behind an everlasting legacy of love and dedication.

He was the beloved husband of Effie Suitt and the loving father of Trisha, Michael, the late Mark, Phillip, and Rebecca. Ronald was also a devoted grandfather to Danielle, Brice, Dylan, Anthony, Noelani, Amariah, Naomi, and Emmitt.

Ronald's life was characterized by a deep love for his family, a tireless work ethic, and a passion for creating with his hands.
After dedicating 20 years of his life to serving his country in the United States Air Force, Ronald retired with honor, having demonstrated steadfast commitment and bravery in the defense of his nation.

A true craftsman at heart, Ronald found joy in building things with his hands, whether it was constructing remote control airplanes, cars, or various housing projects. His creativity and skill were evident in every project he undertook, and his love for craftsmanship will be remembered by all who knew him.

In addition to his passion for building, Ronald also enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, such as playing golf and softball. His love for sports and the outdoors brought joy to his life and the lives of those around him.

Ronald's passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of his loved ones, but his memory will endure through the countless lives he touched. His legacy of love, strength, and creativity will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have known him.

A funeral service to honor the life of Ronald Michael Suitt will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 11:00AM. His family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him are invited to join in celebrating his remarkable life and the impact he made on the world.

Ronald will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered as a devoted husband, a loving father, a proud grandfather, and a true American hero. His spirit will live on through the cherished memories and the love he shared with all who knew him.
