Obituary of Lawrence Ice

 

Lawrence Russel Ice, affectionately known as Larry, left an indelible mark on the world during his remarkable journey. Born on July 25th, 1944, in Hillsdale County, Michigan, Larry's life was a testament to adventure, resilience, and unwavering determination. 

 

A graduate of Homer High School, Larry's thirst for knowledge and exploration led him to serve with honor in the US Navy, where he traversed the globe, exploring the diverse landscapes of Europe and Asia. His experiences shaped him into a worldly individual, fluent in multiple languages and deeply connected to the communities he encountered.

 

With a degree in Business Administration, Larry carved out a successful career path, serving as a Supervisor, Loan Office Manager, and Advocate for the Vietnamese Community of Denver, CO. His contributions extended globally through his work with Gambro BCT, a leading producer of blood kits and machines, where he dedicated himself to advancing healthcare initiatives.

 

In August 22nd, 1999, Larry found love and companionship with his wife, a beautiful successful Vietnamese woman from central Vietnam Hue'. Together, they raised six children and built a legacy of love, resilience, and compassion.

 

Larry's impact transcended borders, as he fostered friendships with high-ranking officials in Vietnam and China, earning widespread respect and admiration. His name became synonymous with integrity and kindness, leaving an enduring legacy that touched the lives of many.

 

As we reflect on Larry's extraordinary life, let us celebrate his spirit of adventure, his unwavering dedication to family and community, and the countless lives he touched along the way.
